Want to know which other domains or websites are hosted on a web server that hosts a particular domain (may be yours)? Well, it's all very easy now! Google Blogoscoped reported that Microsoft's search engine Bing lets you know different domains hosted on a given IP (every web server is assigned with a unique IP address on the Internet).
First you need to get the IP address of a domain. You can get the IP of any website by entering, e.g. xyz.com into a tool like host2ip or by opening the command prompt on your computer (start->Run->smd) and typing ping . The output that appears will contain the IP address of that particular domain. Now copy the IP, go to Bing and type ip: in the search box. Then, the search will show you list of other domains other than xyz.com hosted on the same server.

Google is all about innovations! Here comes the latest that the search giant is all set to predict future search trends. This means, Google knows what searchers will be searching for in twelve months from now. Is not it interesting? Well, it may not be able to predict everything, but for general search queries Google is all confident!
“For each trends sequence of interest, we take a point in time, t, which is about a year back, compute a one year forecasting for t based on historical data available at time t, and compare it to the actual trends sequence that occurs since time t. The error between the forecasting trends and the actual trends characterizes the predictability level of a sequence, and when the error is smaller than a pre-defined threshold, we denote the trends query as predictable.”- Google Google has been working to predict the future search trends and in that process they have come up with many findings. Some of observations include:
- It was found that more than half of the most popular Google search queries are predictable in a 12 month ahead forecast, with a mean absolute prediction error of about 12 percent.
- Almost half of the most popular queries can not be predicted with respect to the model or pattern used by google.
- There are some search categories that have high fraction of predictable queries such as Health (74%), Food & Drink (67%) and Travel (65%). Some categories having low fraction of predictable queries include Entertainment (35%) and Social Networks & Online Communities (27%).
Below is a chart showing Google's margin of error which stays consistent even when making predictions 9 months out:

Google has came up with a new way to run local ads in the new AdWords interface. It's called Location Extensions that allow advertisers or business owners to extend their AdWords campaigns by dynamically attaching their business addresses to the ads.
Primary business owners can set up Local Business Center (LBC) account. Those who are not the primary business owners of the locations they are advertising can manually enter addresses directly into AdWords. When extensions are set up, Google will dynamically match the locations to the user's location or search terms and show relevant addresses with the text ads. If Google fails to determine a user's location or if it does not find relevant addresses to show, it will show the business owner's ad without an address.
Business owners also enjoys the option not to consider dynamically match addresses to their ads. They can simply choose a particular address to show with one particular ad, and they can do this just by setting up specific location extensions for individual ads . The ads can be shown on Google and Google maps with their relevant extensions and as regular text ads on search and content partner sites.
To learn more about location extensions, check out the location extensions overview section at the Help Center for the new AdWords interface.
